Terminator Genisys (2015)

One thing that is actually embarrassing: I've never watched a single movie Terminator intact. Yeah, you know, his films often appear on TV, but somehow I only know bits and pieces of this franchise, remember some of the scenes and just recall the outline wrote. This is what is worrying me when watching Terminator Genisys, scared I did not know in detail about what the film said this sequel but a reboot. Well, fortunately I'm not alone. You see, that makes the film also seems confused as to what the film not contrived.

He does want to take advantage of the theory of the film travel across time to create a new story in alternate time dimension, kind of Star Trek 2009 version so. So the series Terminator own premises war between Skynet smart machines named opponent mankind left the leadership of John Connor. Then because in theory change the past can cause effects to the future, Skynet send a killing machine (terminator) to the past to undo the birth of John, but John also send the name Kyle Reese Skynet efforts to prevent it. If not wrong in Terminator 2: Judgment Day is also the premise is the same, only John sent a robot (which is set to be good terminator) instead of people. So this series is a race of sending people / robots into the past to change the future.

I think just the concept of sending the race was eventually arrested at Genisys. Who knows how to do, made this film with the first story-ahead to prevent the birth of John or the emergence of Skynet. This film follows the journey of Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), the mother of John who was single, of the execution of the terminator. Turns out he entered a time dimension "wrong", because previously there terminator sent to kill Sarah small-1970s, but the terminator was successfully eradicated the terminator T-800 that is already programmed so well (Arnold Schwarzenegger), which was derived from the time dimension "true" then prepare her to protect themselves from attack terminator in the future and so on and so forth.

The point is Kyle no longer need to protect Sarah but yes how else would've already met and without Kyle would not exist John also * The "spoiler" of the first Terminator movie *. Then Sarah and the terminator called Pops was ready to make the mission of preventing the birth of Skynet to jump to 1997, the which is the date of nuclear holocaust carried Skynet in the dimension of time the "original", but for some reason unknown to anyone , probably because I'm stupid or just what makes the film so, move to the end of the world by 2017.

I mean, what the hell? I was really needed time to make sense of the concept of time-travel and alternate dimensions of time and the butterfly effect and the students, who took his time to his own originals. Throughout the film I was just thinking how does this mean? Already change the past (which Sarah was a child) but I still think the future will still be in accordance with the dimension of time right? Was really gambling that takes time. And how they can be sure of the time to move into the future that it was in the time dimension "right", if you already know that the delegates themselves or anytime Skynet can be sent to any time to change the past? The trigger end of the world continues to move 20-year-old what? And that according to me is how the lazy writing Kyle could suddenly have memories of a time dimension that he was going to, just let the film is not too busy to find out it was, let me quickly. Oh yeah, do not get me started with the appearance of John Connor in 2017 are just as confusing (or intentionally withheld) with the emergence of Pops when Sarah was young: how can be sure that the time dimension version of it?

Finally, all the fun-appeal and visual effects are quite okay (okay, not really if the specials for the size of Hollywood) that is displayed on the screen so it is less subject to its meaning because of the attention I was already "compromised" the same story that the film is not good logic. It was left that I can enjoy from this film are some of the visual system that was cool - especially scenes involving MRI and all the hybrid human-robot-that-he-twist-but-already-demolished-in-and-posters -trailer, his chase scene that should really, war in the beginning of the film is also cool, plus some humor and homage to the original films are so-so. But, yes how, stories headache because the basic concept is reckless.

My score of 6.5 / 10
